Holy basil is considered an adaptagenic herb which help your body respond to stressors and improves your physical and emotional well-being, bringing balance to your life. Holy basil is known for its antioxidant, neuroprotective, and radio-protective properties, which are believed to provide protection against aging.

In Ayurveda, holy basil is recognized as a "Rasayana" herb, which supports the improvement of health and longevity. Additionally, holy basil has several other helpful actions. It serves as a digestive stimulant, carminative, and antispasmodic due to its volatile oil content, promoting digestion and digestive health. Its antiviral, antibacterial, decongestant, expectorant, and diaphoretic properties make it beneficial for respiratory conditions.
